Policies

  • To schedule, text or call 858 243 8635. If possible, provide your name, preferred dates & times, length of service timing, number of sessions, and location. Angela will respond within 24-hours with her availability. Once particulars have been agreed upon, a credit card number is required to secure the reservation.

  • Therapist arrives 15-minutes before the start time of the first appointment to setup the massage table and prepare for sessions. Timing is optimally counted from first to last touch. Please allow up to 15-minutes turn over time between massages and 15-minutes after the end of the last appointment for the therapist to pack up and leave.

  • Therapist provides resort quality massage table, linens, products, and music. Salves include Now Solutions apricot kernel oil, coconut & shea butter lotion, Plantlife citrus oil & sore muscle oil, Wind River Herbs arnica & chest rub, and RBA Skincare luminous oil. Please let the therapist know if you have any preferences or sensitivities.

  • Payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, cash, check, PayPal, and debit or credit card. Payment is due at time of service. A credit card number is required to secure the reservation. The card will only be charged in cases of late cancellation or no show appointments. Any processing or parking fees, such as a 3% charge for debit and credit cards, are the responsibility of the client.

  • Changes or cancellations made within 48-hours of the start time of the appointment are charged $100 per session. For same day changes, cancellations, or no show appointments, the full treatment cost is due. In case of illness, please let the therapist know as soon as possible.

  • Client comfort and safety are of highest priority. While on the massage table, clients are generally fully undressed or only wearing underwear. In any case, the client is always modestly draped. Only the area being addressed is uncovered. Clear and wholesome boundaries are always maintained.

  • This practice honors the sanctity of privacy. The confidentiality of the client and everything conveyed in confidence will always be upheld.

  • This practice is trauma informed and client centered. We each have neurological, biological, psychological, and social conditioning. All efforts will be made to provide a safe, sensitive, and collaborative environment for inquiry and healing. Client dignity, agency, authority, empowerment, self sufficiency, and emotional maturity will always be prioritized.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to share and update any accidents, injuries, allergies, or medical conditions that might affect their sessions. The therapist is not qualified to diagnose medical conditions nor is bodywork an acceptable alternative to prescribed medical care.

  • There is zero tolerance for sexual interaction or discussion of any kind. Any such behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session. The full service cost will be charged and the client will be banned from rebooking. Behavior will be considered solicitation and reported to the police. 

  • This practice promotes purposeful inclusivity and values diversity. All races, ethnicities, nations of origin, immigration statues, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, religions, and physical abilities are safe, welcome, cherished, and celebrated.
